A pedestrian bridge in sunset. This is the McCoy creek bridge in Suisun. I frequently walk here getting my exercise. The shapes of the trusses of the bridge caught my attention. The McCoy creek path has long been an area I wanted to photograph.

The Bridges of San Francisco Bay
Bridges are a popular subject for photography. Here is my growing collection. My favorite among these is the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. While the others were taken from land or in Coit Tower, the Richmond-San Rafael photo was taken aboard the Baylink Ferry as it cruised across the bay at its top speed. This one had to be fast! Battling wind and spray at the stern of the ferry, I set my camera to burst, checked the lens for water drops and fired.
