In Northern Napa & Solano counties, near Lake Berryessa the Wragg Wildfire continues to burn. I went out into the marsh for a clear view of the columns of smoke rising out of the hills to the north.
Low Key Heron
I have many photos now of the great blue heron at Rockville. I decided to make a Low Key photo.
Shapes of Things
A pedestrian bridge in sunset. This is the McCoy creek bridge in Suisun. I frequently walk here getting my exercise. The shapes of the trusses of the bridge caught my attention. The McCoy creek path has long been an area I wanted to photograph.
An Auspicious Start
After the excitement of getting heron photos and discovering sunbathing turtles, I had overlooked this treasure from near the start of my hike. I'm not used to seeing deer in Rockville. Cattle and sheep, yes.
