Video: Candy Cane & Lollipop Lanes - Drive & Photowalk
Now on DailyMotion: My 2013 walk and drive of Candy Cane Lane and neighboring Lollipop Lane in Vacaville, CA. I used a dashmounted iPhone 4S for the car video, and my Lumix GX1 on tripod for video and still photography on the sidewalk. Lots of Christmas lights animated and twinkling in the night, so shooting video made a great deal of sense.
On an aside, I noticed an overt use of leading lines in the design of the decorations. At least two houses had converging lights leading to a centerpoint.
