Video: Harvest Moon Time Lapse
The harvest moon slides past the heron sculpture in Suisun, CA. The time lapse includes a hybrid clip with both static stars and star trails, reversed and played normally.
This was a series of 15 second exposures, taken from 2AM to well after 4AM for a total of 482 photos. Panasonic Lumix GX1, 14mm, ISO500, f/7.1, 15s, WB: Incandescent.
Post: Not much done in Aperture except sharpening and noise reduction. Processed in StarStaX and the video was rendered using Sequence (http://frosthaus.com/sequence/), a new app I'm using for time lapse.
While processing I noticed little white dots, must be hot pixels I'm thinking. Nope, stars. I was surprised to see the stars picked up by the camera so close to the full moon.
