I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under,
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And laugh as I pass in thunder.

I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under,
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And laugh as I pass in thunder.
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossom'd many an incense-bearing tree;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.
I went for a hike at Pena Adobe during a fast moving storm. The rain poured, and at the top of a hill lined with trees and boulders a view had opened: The valley below and the city of Vacaville beyond. Puddles formed on top of the boulders, giving a chance to play with reflections.
