Spring Has Returned To Pena Adobe In Vacaville

Since taking up photography, I've become more attuned to light and color. Driving around I noticed pinkish white flowers on trees standing out. Cherry blossoms! A sure sign of spring more so than a groundhog's shadow. So I went hiking in my local regional park, Pena Adobe in Vacaville where I knew some trees grow.

Along the hillside, a lone cherry tree blossoms.

A telltale hint that cherry trees grow at Pena Adobe is in the street names nearby. Near Pena Adobe Road is Cherry Glen Road.
