Serpas Ranch
Last week I had the opportunity to hike into the hills north of Fairfield. The City of Fairfield maintains open space properties that are open to hikers. The hills climb up to 500 feet altitude and the views are spectacular. I walked through an oak grove to the top of the hills. The nearby mountain of Twin Sisters separating Fairfield and Napa. To the south, Mount Diablo looming in the distance. Of course, I brought my camera.
Hiker access is through the parking lot on the corner of Sanctuary Drive and Hillborn Road.
