Fairfield Civic Center In Spring

​Spring has come, and I set out with a new lens: The Panasonic 45mm-200mm telephoto.

​I set out to shoot ducks, but was captivated by the squirrel having lunch.

I definitely wanted a big zoom lens to reach out and grab photos beyond the reach of my kit lens, a Panasonic 14mm-42mm. When I walked the Golden Gate, I saw dolphins (or porpoises) swimming under the bridge and breaching the surface. I just couldn't capture them over such a distance.
